Science classes are in full swing this year at EPJA! The Major Project of the year for each of the 4, 5, 6, and 8th grade students is an experimental discovery project. Each student has chosen a topic that they were interested in and formed a hypothesis or guess about some issue within that topic. They then had to follow the standard Scientific Method’s process to develop an adequate way to test their hypothesis. These experiments range from simple earth processes to complex behavior(s) of the human mind. These projects are due in January and will be entered into the EPJA Science Fair to be held on January 24, 2018. Everyone is welcome to come and view the projects once judging is complete.

The 8th grade field of study for this year is concentrated in the chemistry and physics sides of science.
